Lobo Swimming and Diving Set Program Record for G.P.A.The combined grade point average of the Lobos' 21 athletics programs for the 2008 spring semester was a school-record 3.11 according to the UNM registrar's office. UNM's previous high was 3.08 in the 2006 spring semester. The Lobos have now reached a G.P.A. of 3.00 or better for 11 of the last 12 semesters. UNM began tracking grades in the fall of 1988.

Swimming & Diving Season ReviewThe University of New Mexico women's swimming and diving team completed another successful campaign in 2007-08. The Lobos posted wins over regional foe Northern Colorado and Mountain West Conference rival Air Force while taking on some of the top competition in the country.

Swimming and Diving Signs Three Letters of IntentUniversity of New Mexico head women's swimming and diving coach Tracy Ljone announced that three recruits signed National Letters of Intent during the current signing period.

182 Lobos Honored For Work In The ClassroomThe University of New Mexico Athletics Department recently honored 182 Lobo student-athletes at the Fifth Annual Student-Athlete Academic Awards Celebration. Student-athletes were recognized for excellence in the classroom by maintaining a 3.20 or higher cumulative grade point average and excellence as active members of their team. 16 student-athletes are currently maintaining a 4.0 or higher cumulative grade point average.4/8/2008
Olympic Gold Medalist to Speak at Swimming and Diving BanquetThe University of New Mexico swimming and diving team will celebrate its 2007-08 season with a banquet on Saturday, April 26 at Gardunos on the Green at Balloon Fiesta Park at 6 p.m.
